So we were closed on Thursday, but Friday will hopefully be a better day of weather for picking the blueberries. The field and path to it were both very soggy for most of the day, even though the rain stopped early on Thursday. We hope not too many people were disappointed and can reschedule their picking time.
Our honey came in from Tony’s Bee’s who did the processing, so now you can buy some excellent tasting honey from bees that fed on the nectar of our blueberry blossoms as you check out in our barn. And give yourself a treat of freshness with our brightly colored “Steep Hill Farm” tee-shirts.
I made the first “fresh berry pie” tonight for supper, and because it was so good, I had to have two pieces. The whipped cream and blueberries are just too good…
