July 18, 2012

We will be open  today after a half day of  picking yesterday because of the “on again off again” rain,  thanks to the good old Maine  weather patten. We are into our 6th day of  picking and are picking the Northland  and Patriot varieties of  berries. The picking is excellent and should be dry once the sun comes out.

The weather looks  promising for the next several days which should make the picking conditions great for an enjoyable day on the farm. So now is the time to think about getting some fresh fruit for the family and filling the freezer  with a good  supply of berries for those  winter treats that help us through some of  the colder days of winter.

See you in the Patch
