A little girl of about 6 years old came into the barn Tuesday after picking berries, sat in the rocking chair, and said, “I love picking blueberries at Steep Hill Farm.” We can’t ask for a better compliment than that.
Many blueberries and raspberries left the Hill Tuesday during another great day of picking. The weather was perfect, one of our great summer days in Maine.
Wednesday will hopefully be a repeat of Tuesday. Unfortunately, the raspberries are done for a couple of days, they need to ripen again. But there are plenty of great big blueberries, so come and get them now.
We will be open from 8 A.M. to 7 P.M. for blueberry picking.
