The weather has cooperated, so we will have raspberry picking Sunday morning, July 20, 2014, from 8 A.M. to 1 P.M.  The crop is looking very good!  Start your Sunday morning out right with a sojourn into nature at Steep Hill Farm!

It was a successful first day of raspberry picking today, and we anticipate the berries will be ripe again on Sunday, July 20, 2014.  We will open at 8A.M. on Sunday, weather permitting, and pick until 1 P.M. Due to the weather last night, and predicted rain today as well, we will put off our first raspberry picking to Thursday morning.   A start of 9 A.M. will let the raspberries dry off a little tomorrow morning. We will pick from 9 to 1 P.M.  Hope to see you in the patch!

The raspberries have been ripening in this heat, and we are anticipating opening up for picking Wednesday morning, August 16, 2014 , from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M.  However, this is weather dependent, as a heavy rain could wipe out much of the ripe crop. Steep Hill Farm is gearing up for the season.  George has been hard at work for months pruning, fertilizing, and weeding both blueberries and raspberries! We anticipate picking blueberries mid to late July, and raspberries will be coming within a week or two ……….Stay tuned for days of raspberry picking!
