Wednesday was a stellar day on the Farm.  Many blueberries were picked and many smiles were on faces of pickers.

There were pickers from 3 months of age to 93 years of age in the patch picking blueberries.

The 93 year old picked 10 quarts of berries, would you believe!!

And the 3 month old was in a front-pack on his daddy’s chest.  He had a great time too.  In fact, he was so relaxed that his dad found out ,when he came in to the barn to pay , that baby had soiled his diaper in such a great way that his Dad’s tee-shirt was a bit brown!  Dad had to buy a new Steep Hill Farm tee shirt to wear home!

The weather is cooperating to make picking blueberries a great summer activity in Maine.  Come to Steep Hill Farm and join in.  We will be open Thursday from 8 A.M to 7 P.M.
