Thursday was a banner day, with many blueberries and many raspberries exiting the field! The weather was perfect, and pickers came out to experience the feeling of picking their own berries on a “bluebird day”!
Friday, on the other hand, is looking like a washout! So we are scheduling a shutdown because we do not pick in the rain. Friday, we will be closed for the day.
Follow the blog to see when we will open next. George has to assess the field after heavy picking the last two days to make sure that the berry clusters are ripe enough for the next picking. Think sun!
Enjoy the rainy day!
