Friday brought more new and old friends out to pick berries at Steep Hill Farm. One young picker was a ten year old boy from Spain who came to pick blueberries for the first time in his life. He was very grateful for the experience. And we were glad to be able to provide it for him. A very polite young man! Another interesting group was about ten college age kids who worked for Americorps and were on an excursion together on their time off. Full of fun and loving nature, they were a great group who then ate a picnic lunch and had blueberries for dessert. Blueberry picking is a great outdoor experience that is healthy for you and fun as well. Come out and enjoy!
We will be open Saturday from 8 A.M. to 7 P.M. for both blueberry picking and raspberry picking. Hope to see you in the patch!
